The geometric design Kirman is interpreted as an embroidered embellishment on the lightest yarn-dyed linen. Each raised applique is crafted using a technique that recalls fil coupé. The colours are delicate, contrasting very subtly with the base. The embroidery is positioned in a wide band perpendicular to the selvedges, ideal for creating very elegant curtains or small decorative cushions.
