Designed in the early seventies by Studio Gabetti & Isola, the Bul-bo floor lamp has now been reworked by Axolight, including an exclusive version featuring a removable cover in Altai fabric by Loro Piana Interiors. The ultra-soft blend of cashmere and wool is available in two shades: warm red with tonal stitching, and a natural hue with contrasting stitching.

The original design of the lamp, with its unique base filled with granules which enables the metal pole to be angled in any direction, features a lightbulb-shape cut-out that now houses a LED lamp.

The Loro Piana version also has a nubuck handle with a soft, tactile handfeel. The versatile Bul-bo Soft can be used for ambient light, or as a light source for reading or working, and effortlessly illuminates any setting. An iconic piece of Italian design history, it complements function with a sleek, refined aesthetic and an undeniably playful spirit.
