Zibaldone

"Zibaldone" collection unveils an array of wools, alpaca and wool, linen, silk and cotton fabrics and decorations, offered in exclusive combinations that are easy to mix-and-match with all existing and current collections.

Zelander®, a renowned Loro Piana prerogative, obtained from New Zealand merino wool with a sheared aspect, is offered in a classic solid motif, as well as in chevron and check.

Irish linen characterizes the Bangor fabric to "dress" beds, cushions and upholstered pieces with an ultra-soft hand and a palette of 20 colors to choose from.

Newport, a linen gauze with vivid contrast embroidery is ideal for decorations and curtains and is available in three variants.

The Katai silk, for curtains and cushions, features an irregular yarn and is available in 14 different solid colors.

For outdoor life, terraces and conservatories, the Dehors fabric is high-performing, waterproof and climate resistant and available in natté, twill and chevron textures.

For throws and cushions, the Incas fabric, a blend of 75 percent Suri Alpaca and 25 percent wool, is a soft and refined velour in four different colors that set off the extraordinary characteristics of the rarest and finest alpaca thanks to engineering skills and manufacturing techniques that use vegetable thistles during the delicate combing phase.

For upholstery and decorations there are the Ikat fabrics that feature graphic motifs in soft degrading patterns obtained with an antique dyeing tradition that hails from Indonesia, India and Malaysia.

The range also includes Loro Piana Denim Flower®, an extraordinary fabric obtained from prized and certified organic cotton picked in the Valley of San Joaquin, California, considered the finest product available in the U.S.A. This fiber, harvested according to the more rigid biological principles that exclusively employ natural products, is exceptionally unique in terms of length, finesse and resistance.

Only a longstanding textile tradition and the rediscovery of antique manufacturing techniques – the same used for cashmere – have enabled to spin and weave this precious fiber to obtain a compact and resistant fabric with a denim structure. It comes in five color variants, four neutrals and an indigo.
